Well, this message has been a long time coming. So, let’s get straight to it: We’re thrilled to officially announce that The Kinderton will be reopening from June 13th 2025.

You might not know us yet, so let us introduce ourselves. We’re the team behind CUBAR and K2H Creative Indian Kitchen in Sandbach. For the last few months we’ve been in talks with The Kinderton’s former owners - who believe, as we do, in the power of local, independent hospitality. Together, we share a passion for creating places that enhance the town they belong to and become part of the local community.  Shaun and his team trust us to take on The Kinderton and evolve in a way that is best for the town and people of Middlewich – we hope you do too!

Because the Folk and Boat Festival is such an iconic event in the town, we’re currently working hard to get everything ready to open on the first day of the festival. We hope you’ll join us for drinks, festival food and live music. It’ll be a grand reopening party!

We will remain open after the festival, but as we put together a new kitchen team, it will be a few weeks before we’re offering a full food menu. So please keep updated on our social media pages, pop in for drinks, enjoy our glorious garden and experience what is on offer (there’ll be plenty of new menu taste-testing in the coming weeks!).

The hotel officially reopens on July 1st and our full restaurant and bar offering will launch when we’re confident we’ve created something you'll really love.
